I had the privilege of seeing Mr. Jim Gaffigan IN PERSON, LIVE in Seattle a couple of years ago. And, at that show he did all new material! I was SO STOKED and it was SO AWESOME!
Since then, I’ve been waiting for the day when his new material would be available for all to enjoy. Thankfully, that day has come.
Here’s a bit he did on Whales. He’s edgy, I know. But, funny…
Be sure to support the man & buy his DVD on the 11th at jimgaffigan.com. ONLY $5!!
L.A. seems like a place where you could run into something like this everywhere. It must be so common, just watch the people in the background, they’re like, “This girl ain’t nuttin’ compared to da janitor at da bank.”
I was reminded of some helpful advice the other day, and since most of us are in need of some direction, I figured it’d be worth sharing. There’s a couple of short clips that I think will prove very helpful for the coming year if you’ll just take the time to watch.
And, as if that wasn’t helpful enough, this next video changed my life.
Alright, I think there’s time for ONE more 2011 list, isn’t there? At least one that doesn’t include cat videos.
How about ESPN’s “Worst of the Worst of 2011”?
I love how they can’t stop laughing at the end. That’s about the funniest part.
A little bit ago we passed a fantastic anniversary. Believe it or not, it’s been over 25 years since what could easily be called the greatest 80’s movie EVER was released. That’s right – I could ONLY be talking about Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
It stands as one of my most favorite movies from my childhood & I still quote it to this day. Now, for some favorite scenes:
The Clarinet scene – quite possibly the most under-appreciated & funniest scene!
“Abe Froman, the Sausage KING of Chicago” GREAT line.
And, what is one of the most subtle & deep lines in the movie…
And, my All-Time favorite scene:
MAN I love that movie. What’s your favorite Ferris Bueller scene? OR, what’s your favorite movie from your childhood?
